We moved from Cape Town in 2010 and are no longer able to report on the fate of the birds.
The idea behind this blog was to make people aware that they share the earth with other creatures.

Man and bird share the same beach

White-fronted Plovers

We saw hardly any bird footprints on the beach this morning.   Perhaps they are deeper in the bush or perhaps moved to another beach for the winter.

A few weeks ago the beach was still full of footprints.
